An Annual Winter Tradition at Wiley Park

On Sunday, December 28, a group of members and friends gathered at Wiley Park for a walk through the snow-covered landscape. This Sunday morning walk has become an annual tradition in memory of our dear member and friend, Gail Hoffman. Gail loved sharing her joy in the beauty of the natural world with everyone she met, and we continue to honor that spirit each year by coming together in the place she loved so much. Happy Holidays to all!

Join us in honoring the Winter Solstice at the Chapel in the Pines. Come sit and sip, nibble and gnosh, and share stories, poems, songs to soothe our weary souls in these darkest of times, as we give birth to the light of the coming year with seeds that might give us hope. Sunday, December 24, 2023 10 AM ʻTis the season….and Christmas Eve morning we will gather for breakfast and hospitality at the Chapel. Bring some food to share if you like, and letʻs share our good will for all in this season when the light of days are becoming longer and winter is upon us. We can all bring the spirit of this special season to see us through the days and year to come as the light grows.

Sunday, April 17 Our Gathering allows a sharing of our joy and sadness coming into Spring 2022. If you are not at ease with personal disclosure, bring a poem, reading or momento to share. Food to share will also be appreciated. Deborah and Gail will set the tone. Friends of the fellowship and family members welcome. Weather permitting, this will be an outdoors event; masks optional.
