    Josh Ayala and Jordan Renzi

With a sound that weaves elements of folk, Americana and indie soul, the song is a raw, poetic and richly textured journey delivered in Ayala’s lived-in sincerity, soulful grit and a rich, expressive voice that feels both fresh and timeless. The result is music that nods in spirit – not mimicry – to Ray LaMontagne’s introspection, Hozier’s soulfulness and Johnny Cash’s storytelling.

Jordan Renzi is a Cape Cod-based singer-songwriter known for blending high-lonesome folk with contemporary soul, creating a sound that is both raw and tender. Renzi has garnered recognition as a compelling indie-folk artist with poetic lyrics and a “hauntingly beautiful” vocal style. She is set to release her debut album, On Your Side, in early 2026

  • Cooling Our Overheated Planet

Chapel in the Pines and Zoom 220 Samoset Road, Eastham, MA

Join us as Nancy Lee Wood Ph.D discusses plant-based solutions to global warming.

The global warming discourse has centered on cooling the planet through lowering CO2 emissions via the development and use of “green technologies.”  Little-to-no attention has been paid to cooling the planet through the power of CO2 drawdown accomplished through nature-based solutions.  This presentation focuses on the multiple factors contributing to ecological deterioration and the necessity to go beyond “green-tech” solutions by practicing natural-based regenerative practices to cool our overheated planet.

Nancy Lee Wood, Ph.D is Professor of Sociology and Sustainability at Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA.  She also is a Board Member for the Cambridge, MA-based organization, Biodiversity for a Livable Climate and is an Advisor to the AGRARIA Center for Regenerative Practices in Yellow Springs, OH.  She holds a M.A. in Psychology from the New School for Social Research in NYC and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
