- Eastham Climate Action Plan
Fighting climate change may feel too daunting for any one person to take on. But if enough of us change our behaviors and promote change in our communities, we can significantly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions over the next three decades. The Eastham Energy and Climate Action Committee will be leading a conversation about community and individual actions that are sensible and critical to helping to preserve the Cape Cod natural environment that we all love and cherish.
Tom McNellis chairs the Eastham Energy and Climate Action Committee. Tom has worked for over 25 years in advanced technology research, complex systems development and integration, and long-term strategic planning, including over 20 years supporting NOAA’s meteorology and climate scientists at the National Weather Service, National Severe Storms Laboratory, and Climate Prediction Center to provide high-fidelity environmental characterization. He is a member of the Eastham Zoning Task Force and represents Eastham on the Cape Light Compact Board of Directors.
