Join us Sunday, September 14th at 10am to meet award winning mystery writer Paul Kemprecos. Kemprecos lives on the Cape and for years reported on local news for the old Cape Codder newspaper. He ingeniously weaves Cape happenings into his thrillers which include nine novels in the Cape Cod-based Aristotle “Soc” Socarides private detective series. He also has worked with Clive Cussler writing eight best-selling NUMA Files novels . As a venue for his newest book, “Killing Icarus”, Kemprecos uses the little known glider school which Germans established in Truro and Wellfleet in the late 1920’s to train their best pilots in the art of soaring. And he also throws in a sketch by renowned painter Edward Hopper to provide a clue in solving the mystery surrounding the death of one glider pilot. Come hear more about the school, Paul’s books and Edward Hopper.
