Antonin Dvorak (1841-1904)A Czech composer of Romantic music, he often used the folk music of Moravia and Bohemia. Known as a melodist of genius and for his orchestration, dramatic expression, and spontaneity. He spent three productive years (1892-95) as conductor of the National Conservatory of Music in New York.
